Marilena is in her second year in the Collaborative Life Science Program at the University of Toronto, majoring in Physiology with a double-minor in Psychology and Immunology. She loves working in healthcare settings and hopes to continue to do so in the future, along with getting involved in research! Marilena has worked in multiple Greek organizations that involve philanthropy, Greek language education for youth and traditional Greek dance. Through her position this year as the Director of Academic Affairs for the GSA, she wants to ensure that Hellenic youth have the chance to learn about their heritage and language, get involved in the community, meet their peers, and receive guidance about different career paths from people within the Hellenic community! She cannot wait to see what this year holds for the GSA!
