Under the leadership of George Gretes in 2010, a beautiful, handmade banner was created for the GSA. The banner was carried twice a year at the local Greek parades on the Danforth.
A decade later, the GSA under the leadership of John Koussiouris designed a larger banner made of weather-resistant material to be made. This was done in an effort to preserve the original banner and feature the current GSA logo on the banner. The original banner will be on display in our office at the University of Toronto, to honour the history of the GSA.
