Interested in reconnecting with your roots while traveling, learning, and meeting other young Greeks from across North America? Heritage Greece is a unique, Hellenic Heritage Foundation (HHF)–funded summer program designed for students of Greek descent.

Program Overview

Program: Heritage Greece
Funding: HHF-funded trip with fellow Greek-Canadians and Greek-Americans

Participants take part in immersive academic and cultural programming while building lasting friendships and deepening their connection to Greek history and identity.

Locations & Dates

Athens

  • ACG (American College of Greece):
    • Session A: June 6 – 21, 2026
    • Session B: July 4 – 19, 2026
  • CYA (College Year in Athens):
    • June 15 – 26, 2026

Thessaloniki (Northern Greece)

  • ACT (American College of Thessaloniki):
    • July 6 – 20, 2026

Application Deadlines

  • March 30 (approx.)

Program Focus

The goal of Heritage Greece is to help participants connect with their Greek roots while forming meaningful relationships with young Greeks from Canada and the United States.

  • 4 weeks of classes
  • Educational field trips and excursions
  • Free time to explore independently
  • Visits to sites such as Athens, Delphi/Sounio, and Kalamata

Cost & Eligibility

For participants aged 18–26 of Greek descent, the program covers:

  • Accommodation
  • All meals
  • Academic programming
  • Field trips and excursions

✈️ Participants are only responsible for flights to and from Greece.
