Clubs Carnival and Street Fest 2018

The UTSU had their annual Clubs Carnival in King’s Circle, followed by the much loved Street fest on St. George Street on September 12th. The GSA team set up their booth and table, with vibrant strips of royal blue and white, with flags and our brand new banner! The top Greek songs blaring from the speaker and the council’s enthusiastic presence encouraged students to come sign up and spread the joy of Greek culture throughout the University of Toronto. Along with fun in the sun, came hungry university students who were treated well by, The Original Gyro Grill, and The Greek Grill, providing traditional Greek gyros and souvlaki for the new and old members to enjoy. Students who joined the GSA walked out of Clubs Carnival and Street Fest, proudly wearing the new 2018/2019 official GSA t-shirts and lanyards, ready to kick off a great school year in fashion with Greek pride!

SEF End of the Year Formal 2017

On Thursday, May 25th, 2017, the GSA took part in SEF’s annual end of the year Formal, which consists of a 3-course dinner, open bar, dancing and fun with all the GSA’s/HSA’s at Toronto universities. The Formal was held at Parkview Manor, with around 150 students attending. The night consisted of greek and english music, and represented a celebration of all the hard work each council has done during the academic school year. SEF Formal is one of our largest events, and we cannot wait to see everybody out again at the next one!

Study Jam

On Wednesday November 18th, a study jam was held in the GSA office! It was a day where everyone was able to come, relax, and eat some delicious sweets from SanRemo and Serano bakeries as they took a break from studying for their midterms. Many members from the GSA came by to hang out, and the executives really enjoyed mingling with everyone and meeting new people! It was a good way to de-stress from the hectic midterm season and chat with new and old friends!

Halloween Havoc

Greek students of SEF and friends came together on Friday, October 28th, to wreak HAVOC at Orchid Nightclub. From sexy to scary to Snapchat filters, the clever costumes were endless. The night was a fun success spent dancing to both Greek and English tunes courtesy of DJ Sokin.
