Thank you to everyone for walking with us in the OXI day parade this year! The cold and rain did not stop our council from getting out there and showing our community how much the GSA cares about our Greek history. Ζήτω η Ελλάς 🇬🇷

General Meeting and Pub Night 2018

On the 19st of September the GSA held their annual general meeting and pub night for all new and senior members who gathered to discuss the 2018-19 year for an overview of some GSA initiatives and upcoming events. The general meeting also served for a chance to meet our exec team and learn more about them and the GSA. Another function of this meeting was for students to run as directors for this year’s council. Candidates all provided a short speech and were elected by anonymous ballot voting.

Following the meeting, members headed to O’Grady’s pub, a local UofT bar for drinks and snacks. Pub night allowed for everyone to mingle and catch up with new and prior members. Overall it was a great kick off for the start of the year and a fun night for all.
