The UTSU had their annual Clubs Carnival in King’s Circle, followed by the much loved Street fest on St. George Street on September 12th. The GSA team set up their booth and table, with vibrant strips of royal blue and white, with flags and our brand new banner! The top Greek songs blaring from the speaker and the council’s enthusiastic presence encouraged students to come sign up and spread the joy of Greek culture throughout the University of Toronto. Along with fun in the sun, came hungry university students who were treated well by, The Original Gyro Grill, and The Greek Grill, providing traditional Greek gyros and souvlaki for the new and old members to enjoy. Students who joined the GSA walked out of Clubs Carnival and Street Fest, proudly wearing the new 2018/2019 official GSA t-shirts and lanyards, ready to kick off a great school year in fashion with Greek pride!
